Microscopic Paintings
Smallest paintings ever, some of them under a milimetre, made by a Romanian using the microscope and brushes made from own eyelashes. The collection of more than 30 pieces took 10 years to complete. You can admire every painting on this site and you may contact the author if you want to aquire such artworks.
My name is Marcu Stelian, I'm born in 1952 and my hobby is microscopic painting. On this site you can admire my collection of more than 30 pieces, these illustrating religious scenes, landscapes, portraits and manuscripts. The works were made by the help of a microscope and of specials brushes made from hair or parrot feathers. The characteristics of each painting, can be found on each painting's page.
